Assistant Coach

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and education, with experience in coaching and working with students. This role involves supporting the head coach in developing athletes' skills, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive environment. The Assistant Coach will engage in various sports disciplines, including swimming, judo, karate, and physical education.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in planning and conducting training sessions for athletes.
• Educate students on techniques, strategies, and rules of the sport.
• Implement behavior management strategies to maintain discipline during practices and competitions.
• Provide individual feedback to athletes to enhance their performance.
• Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among team members.
• Organize and supervise practice sessions, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration regarding athlete progress and team activities.
• Attend competitions and support athletes during events.

Requirements

• Experience in sports coaching or related fields is preferred.
• Background in health club environments or physical education is a plus.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support student engagement.
• Ability to educate students effectively in various sports disciplines such as swim, judo, karate, or general physical education.
• Previous experience working with children or in childcare settings is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate young athletes.
• A commitment to promoting a positive learning environment for all participants.
