Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate parts according to precise specifications. This is a full-time position located at our warehouse facility.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and cutting
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine machine setup and specifications
- Use logic controllers and CAM programming software to input instructions into the machines
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments
- Inspect finished products for quality control and accuracy
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree in machining or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role
- Proficient in the use of SolidWorks, CAD, and CAM programming software
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, including lathe operations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Familiarity with quality control principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
