How You Will Excel As Part Of Our Team
Under the guidance of the Laboratory Manager, the Senior Chemist will lead the development and validation of analytical methods to support the characterization of compounds, formulations, and materials.
Main Duties Include
Full-Time | M - F 9:00AM - 5:00PM | Some weekend/holiday hours required
For the first 120 days, the work location with be both at Adamson Analytical Laboratories in Corona, CA and Tentamus Labs of America in Irvine, CA.
What You Need To Succeed

Salary range of $75,000 - $85,000, comprehensive and low-cost benefit plans (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance) Ample PTO and 40 hours of sick time per CA state law, and a matching 401k.

How You Will Excel As Part Of Our Team
Under the guidance of the Laboratory Manager, the Senior Chemist will lead the development and validation of analytical methods to support the characterization of compounds, formulations, and materials.
Main Duties Include
- Design and execute experiments using a wide range of analytical techniques, including chromatography (HPLC, GC), spectroscopy (UV-Vis, FTIR, NMR), mass spectrometry, and thermal analysis.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets, troubleshoot analytical issues, and provide technical guidance to junior staff members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address analytical challenges, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate new technologies and instrumentation to enhance analytical capabilities and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and review technical reports, presentations, and regulatory submissions to communicate findings effectively.
- Mentor and train junior chemists, providing guidance on experimental design, data analysis, and professional development.
- Maintain laboratory instrumentation, troubleshoot equipment issues, and oversee calibration and maintenance activities.
- Implement and adhere to quality management systems, including Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and ISO standards.

What You Need To Succeed

- BS in Chemistry, or related field; Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience in analytical method development and validation, preferably in related industry.
- Experience with testing supplements and natural health products is preferred; Pharma product QC testing experience is a plus.
- Expertise in a wide range of analytical techniques and instrumentation specifically Gas Chromatography, with proficiency in method optimization, maintenance, and troubleshooting. (HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, GC)
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ICH guidelines, ISO 17025) and experience with regulatory submissions.
- Excellent data analysis skills and detail-oriented approach to quality, safety, and compliance
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in project management, team coordination, and mentorship.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, can convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
