Full-Time Optometrist – Duncanville, TX (Southwest Dallas Suburb)
About the Practice
An established ophthalmology and optometry clinic in southwest Dallas seeks a Texas-licensed optometrist with experience in a medical practice setting. Our clinic provides comprehensive eye care, including surgical co-management, diabetic and glaucoma treatment, and emergency eye care.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct pre- and post-op evaluations for surgical patients
- Perform routine, emergency, and disease management exams (diabetes, glaucoma)
- Manage contact lens fittings and adjustments
- Work primarily with adult and senior patients (ages 8 )
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and support staff for seamless patient care
Who You Are
- Licensed optometrist in Texas
- 2 years in an MD OD setting (Ophthalmology Optometry)
- Experienced in medical optometry and post-surgical care
- Credentialed or eligible for Medicare and commercial insurance enrollment
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and patient-focused
- Able to work a 4.5-day workweek (Mon-Thu: 9-hour shifts, Fri: half-day)
Schedule & Benefits
- Monday-Thursday: 8 AM – 6 PM
- Friday: 8 AM – 12 PM
- Compensation: Base salary productivity bonus
