Overview:
Our Client, a highly respected, privately-owned company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting functions. This position will report directly to senior leadership and offer significant exposure to upper management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a small accounting team, collaborating with the Controller
- Manage full-cycle accounting: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Financial Statements
- Support process improvements, including system upgrades, automation of data entry, and moving to a paperless environment
- Assist with due diligence for potential acquisitions and portfolio integration
- Provide financial insights to leadership for decision-making on investments and business operations
Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of accounting experience, with supervisory experience preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and full-cycle accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or equivalent) and advanced MS Excel
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
