About the Role
As our Ecommerce Manager, you will own and manage the strategic direction of our online B2B ecommerce platform. Your focus will be on implementing Shopify Plus, optimizing the customer experience, and collaborating with both internal marketing teams and external offshore development teams. This is a high-impact, hands-off technical role — ideal for someone who thrives in a cross-functional environment and has a strong grasp of ecommerce systems without the need for day-to-day coding.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of Shopify Plus as our ecommerce platform.
- Oversee day-to-day ecommerce operations, ensuring a seamless B2B customer experience.
- Collaborate closely with internal marketing teams to align digital campaigns with ecommerce initiatives.
- Manage offshore development teams to implement site enhancements, features, and integrations.
- Ensure data flow and integration with Microsoft Dynamics ERP, BI tools, and other business systems.
- Monitor performance, analyze KPIs, and develop strategies to drive online sales and improve user engagement.
- Stay ahead of ecommerce trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve the platform.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience managing or owning a B2B ecommerce platform, ideally in the autoparts, machine parts, or components industries.
- Demonstrated success implementing or managing Shopify Plus solutions in a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce best practices, product data management, and customer journey optimization.
- Experience working with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics, and business intelligence platforms.
- Comfortable managing vendor and offshore development teams, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery.
- Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a publicly traded or large enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with ecommerce analytics tools, SEO best practices, and digital marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of product information management (PIM) systems and integrations.
