What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead Global Procurement Efforts 🌏: Manage the sourcing, procurement, and supplier relationships for MRO supplies, capital equipment, and outside services across global projects. Your expertise will keep our operations running smoothly and cost-effectively.
- Craft & Implement Winning Strategies 🛠️: Develop and roll out strategic sourcing plans that optimize cost, quality, and delivery, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in the global marketplace.
- Negotiate Like a Pro 💼: Bring your negotiation skills to the table to secure favorable contracts with top-tier suppliers. You’ll be the driving force behind pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms that benefit both our company and our partners.
- Build & Foster Strong Relationships 🤝: Cultivate relationships with key suppliers, ensuring they deliver top-notch service and meet performance expectations. You’ll be the go-to person for managing supplier performance, resolving issues, and ensuring that we’re always getting the best value.
- Analyze & Adapt to Market Trends 📊: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring supply chain risks, market fluctuations, and pricing trends. You’ll make strategic adjustments to our procurement plans, ensuring we’re always prepared for any challenge that comes our way.
- Drive Cost Savings & Efficiency đź’¸: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives that reduce our total cost of ownership, from negotiating smarter contracts to discovering alternative sourcing options. - Collaborate Across Teams 🤗: Work closely with teams across the company—Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance—to ensure your procurement decisions align with business goals and operational needs. Your insights will drive decisions across the entire organization.
- Optimize Inventory & Business Continuity 🔄: Take control of our inventory management processes to avoid excess stock and ensure business continuity. Your efforts will keep things moving without disruption, supporting everything from production schedules to customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:
- Education & Experience 🎓: A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 7 years of experience in global sourcing and procurement. We’re looking for someone who’s well-versed in MRO, capital equipment, and outside services (construction, engineering, facility management).
- Certification & Expertise 🏅: Professional Procurement certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus. You should have a proven track record of managing complex procurement processes in multi-site environments.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Master negotiator with the ability to build lasting relationships with global suppliers.
- Strong proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills to help you make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Analytical mindset with a sharp attention to detail, problem-solving, and a drive for continuous improvement.
