As an SAP TM Consultant you will strategically align technology with business objectives. This involves direct collaboration with clients as the client’s trusted advisor and oversee the analysis, design, and implementation of technology best practices for effective business solutions.

The role will include but not be limited to:

• Collaborate closely with clients, providing valuable assistance in the implementation of cutting-edge SAP systems.
• Execute the build, testing, and deployment phases, emphasizing Life Science best practices and innovative customer processes within SAP S/4 HANA environment.

Your Experience

First and foremost, you are a genuine Management Consultant with exceptional communication skills, the ability to see the bigger picture, and a collaborative approach to creating exceptional solutions. You will also have relevant SAP skills, including:

Experience Level: Minimum of 8 years of experience working with Transportation Management (TM).

Excellent communication skills: Articulating the problems in Logistics and transportation management in the language that business understands and presenting the solutions (including alternative/s for due diligence) in similar communication style.

Independent Solution Delivery: Capability to drive TM (Transportation Management) solutions as part of a global template. Any prior experience in this area is advantageous.

Design Documentation Insight: Ability to think through different states of design and reflect on the documentation – such as interim state, Applications from non-sap ecosystems, end state etc.

Data Standardization in TM: Proficient in leading discussions and decisions on data standardization for Transportation Management.

Transportation Management (TM) Specific Skills:

• Order-based and delivery-based planning, and package building.
• Freight order and booking management, manual and automated execution, use of Optimizer.
• Management of freight agreements, rate tables, scales, and charges.
• Integration with EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), MM (Materials Management), FI (Finance), and other components.
• Freight settlement process.
• Efficient use of conditions and profiles to establish standards within the global template.
• Integration with 3PL/4PL.
• Direct shipment options.
• Output management, workflows, and relevant contributions to WRICEF items.
• Experience with S/4HANA embedded and hub deployment, including LSP/Shipper scenarios.

A proven track record in a ‘Big 4’, Major ‘SI’, or specialist SAP Consulting Firm would be preferred.

Experience in Life Sciences, or process manufacturing industries, particularly in sectors such as pharmaceutical, medical devices, medical manufacturing and chemicals, would be advantageous.
