Head of Sales – Fire & Safety (Industrial) | Chicago (Remote)


Our client, a rapidly growing industrial fire and safety company (20–25% YoY growth), is seeking a dynamic Head of Sales to lead and expand their business. This role is ideal for a motivated, strategic, and entrepreneurial sales leader who thrives on engagement, innovation, and scaling a high-growth business.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of Sales Representatives.
  • Drive business expansion by building and optimizing the go-to-market strategy.
  • Identify and execute growth opportunities by expanding the customer base and cross-selling with other business units.
  • Develop and implement a commercial strategy to scale the business.
  • Manage 45–50% travel for trade shows, training sessions, and customer meetings.


Qualifications:

  • 10 years of industrial sales experience, with a background in fire, fire suppression, sprinkler, or wet-side fire protection.
  • Experience with strategic go-to-market plans for each channel we support which included OEM, direct, and distribution
  • A strategic thinker who can optimize sales channels and drive business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching, motivating, and engaging teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of building and scaling sales functions.
