Audio-Visual (AV) Events Engineer
Location : Full-time onsite between Culver City, CA, and Burbank, CA
Overview :
One of our premier clients in Burbank, CA, is seeking a dedicated AV Events Engineer to join their team. Reporting to the Manager of Workforce Technology, this role is critical in managing AV systems, supporting live events, and ensuring seamless user experiences for high-profile clients.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly organized, and thrives in dynamic environments. This role requires expertise in managing, troubleshooting, and setting up large corporate Zoom licenses, as well as experience with AV installation for high-end corporate events.
Key Responsibilities :
- Event Support and AV Operations :
- Manage AV setups for events, including live staging, audio mix boards, microphones, lighting, and video camera operations.
- Provide technical support for live events, ensuring flawless execution for internal and external clients, including revenue-driven events.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major event preparation, including video encoding, webcasting (using Zoom Webinar, Workplace, or Livestream), and IPTV systems.
- System Management and Support :
- Oversee AV equipment in conference rooms, ensuring functionality of HDMI interfaces from Mac and PC devices.
- Manage and troubleshoot Zoom Phone and VoIP systems (Zoom & Avaya).
- Handle IPTV systems within office spaces and provide technical guidance for TV systems.
- Provide design recommendations for AV setups across offices, including purchasing, installing, and supporting necessary equipment.
- Customer Interaction :
- Deliver exceptional customer service to high-level clients, maintaining professionalism and clear communication.
- Serve as the main contact for technical operations during live events, ensuring all client requirements are met.
- Collaboration and Adaptability :
- Work closely with other team members to adapt to evolving AV infrastructure and technology needs.
- Participate in on-the-job training and share expertise with colleagues to foster a collaborative environment.
