Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Landscape Designer and Sales Professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for designing, estimating, and selling residential landscaping projects to our clients. Your expertise in high-end residential design/build projects will enable us to deliver exceptional results and build long-lasting relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and client relations for landscape design/build leads and clients as assigned or requested.
- Serves as the voice of the company and creates a caring, professional, friendly and helpful impression of Tentinger Landscapes in all dealings with customers, vendors, associates and others.
- Assists in the company's sales efforts by preparing and sending out any recurring or renewal projects including but not limited to: mulch installation, seasonal color rotation, enhancement, and applicable snow agreements in advance of their respective seasons.
- Sees to it that service and potential project requests from clients are handled in a timely, high-quality, and profitable manner.
- Designs, proposes, and sells landscape construction (hardscape, softscape, others) projects to new leads and clients.
- Active prospecting for new opportunities, relationships, and projects to bring designer/sales' OWN leads to the company.
- May be asked to design, propose, and/or sell enhancement, maintenance, and snow projects for current and potential clients if and when maintenance, snow, and enhancement sales associates require assistance.
- Preparation of job packets and supporting information relating to their sold projects for production associates. Onsite visits to meet with production associates.
- The timely preparation of accurate invoices for all services and materials provided to clients, making sure that all costs have been included, and following up to ensure timely payment.
- Communicates with clients on a regular basis to ensure completeness and quality of care from our field staff, per their contract.
- Regularly visits clients' properties to inspect and ensure work is being performed in accordance with the contract.
- During regular site visits, it is expected that any issues relating to Client's property is noted and relayed to both client and field staff.
- Evaluates properties to develop ideas and proposals for new projects, repairs, replacements, and improvements.
- Partners with the Agency Owner to establish and implement the systems, processes and operations to build customer loyalty.
