Benefits
- Salary: $48 per hour
- Full-time, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday 9:45AM - 6:15PM)
Responsibilities/ Essential Function.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and manage the student's health condition throughout the school day.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and the student’s family to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Provide emergency care during seizures, including administering seizure protocols as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of the student’s health status.
- Assist with personal care as needed, ensuring the student’s dignity and comfort.
- Coordinate dental screenings with community dentists.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Possession of a current and valid State of California license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse and must be in good standing.
- Current California Driver’s License
- Proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, Pre-placement TB Test, Pre-placement Physical Examination, and Current CPR.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the US and must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Successfully pass annual competency checks
- Must approve the request for background and criminal record checks and must be prepared to participate in the drug testing process.
Salary : $48
