ABOUT THE JOB
The Tepa Companies are seeking a GIS Developer to provide support to client web applications to include and be limited to maintain existing systems and functionality, develop new capabilities based on user requests, document all activities to record progress and document technical specifications in support of development activities.
Job Functions :
- Develops web GIS applications leveraging ArcGIS for Server, and other Esri and third-party server technologies. Development may involve server-side and database development, front-end development, or both. Desktop and mobile development are not expected as part of this position.
- Collaborates remotely with the project management team, GIS analysts, and clients to design and execute project requirements.
- Assists in the gathering and refinement of user needs.
- Supports existing applications by identifying areas for improvement and fixing bugs reported by customers.
- Creates flowcharts and user guides for new and existing programs.
- Documents all programming tasks, procedures and delivering knowledge transfer sessions to clients or other team members.
- Performs unit testing and end to end testing.
- Maintains existing infrastructure to ensure uptime including monitoring, patching, and regular license updates.
- Establishes and maintains strong, healthy relationships with clients.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
