ABOUT THE JOB
The Equipment Operator is responsible for performing various equipment operating activities on a construction site. The Equipment Operator will regularly perform Laborer job functions based on client and project requirements.
Equipment Operator :
- Operates various construction equipment safely and efficiently, including : excavators, loaders, graders, scrapers, skid loaders, and rollers.
- Performs daily equipment inspection and maintenance requirements with proper documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Offloads or load outs construction materials and / or debris.
- Reads and interprets surveying staking pertaining to grade control and utilities.
- Interacts with geotechnical engineer and interpret testing results.
- Performs other duties associated with the operation and maintenance of equipment.
