Advanced Analytics & Data Science (AADS) value engine of ITG develops and delivers innovative Analytics Solutions and Services to global manufacturing customers. The AADS team is seeking an experienced data scientist to join a multi-disciplinary team for developing proof of concepts and implement projects in Advanced Analytics using Statistical and Optimization techniques for deriving business insights with measurable success in the Manufacturing value chain.
Responsibilities :
Define hypothesis and identify the analysis trail for the given business problem
Collaborate with technology team and support the development of analytical models with the effective use of data and analytic techniques
Validate the model results and articulate the insights to the business team
Effectively visualize and communicate analysis results
Work collaboratively with software development teams, data scientists, systems engineers and analysts across multiple geographies and functions to develop and deliver enterprise analytics solutions.
Qualifications : Must Have :
University degree in computer science, Bayesian statistics, or related fields
More than 5 years of experience as a data scientist, data analyst, business intelligence analyst, or equivalent roles
Knowledge of statistical or mathematical analysis techniques, including classification, regression, optimization, and simulation
Ability to integrate and analyze large and complex data sets
Ability to communicate technical concepts and solutions to clients and internal teams
Development Technologies : Python, R, SQL, Spark, Pandas, Scikit learn
Experience with statistical analysis software, including SAS
Experience with unstructured data
Familiarity / experience with machine learning methods including KNN, Random Forest, Ensemble methods, Markov Chain, Monte Carlo, Naive Bayes, PCA / PCP - singular value decomposition
Good to Have :
Experience with machine learning, text mining and optimization
Experience with Manufacturing data sets from ERP, CRM, PLM, MES systems
Knowledge of Big Data technologies
MStat / other PG degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Manufacturing Operations Management
