Title : DevOps Automation Consultant
Location : Any US location - candidate must be willing to travel to client sites on weekly basis as required
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle and drive conversation with IT solution team executives and provide advisory services and actionable recommendations on implementation of DevOps Strategy, Practices, Processes, Principles and Platform
- Provide detailed and prioritized roadmap for the enterprise DevOps Transformation
- Jointly define vision, strategy for enterprise DevOps Adoption
- Own and drive DevOps strategy definition and deployment programs - in formulating / defining and driving the end-to-end enterprise DevOps adoption life cycle stages - Analyze, Define, Build, Migrate, Develop, Operate and Manage stages
- Understand the pain points and assign priorities in driving the issues / problems towards amicable solutions
- Interact / converse with multiple stakeholders of both external environment (Customer roles) and TCS internal environment for owning, driving & delivering strategic consulting engagements
- Define DevOps Strategy, Practices, Principles, Technology Platforms and design guidelines and recommendations to the IT solutions & development team
- Define / refine operating models, roles and responsibilities for DevOps Roles
- Provide high level and detailed cost estimates for enterprise DevOps Adoption
- Create a detailed cost benefit analysis (CBA) model and business case for the enterprise DevOps Transformation programs that are recommended to enterprises
- Identify the knowledge and training requirements for skill set upgrades for the enterprise for DevOps Transformation
- Co-ordinate with stakeholders such as Business Owner (BO), Product Owner (PO), Enterprise & Solution Architects, Developers (Dev), Operations (Ops) , Infrastructure management team etc. to establish automated DevOps practices
