Description :
The Practice Director of Identity and Access Management has responsibility for identify tools, technologies, teams, and identity services throughout North America. Prospective candidate will be a strong leader of people with an exceptional understanding and subject matter expertise in identity management strategies such as; Single Sign On, Multifactor Authentication, Privileged Account Management, password vaulting, role-based access and Just-in-time provisioning.
This is a highly visible leadership role and the right candidate must have a customer-focused, team-oriented, approach that balances security needs and user experience to provide best-in-class identity security solutions to the customers.
Responsibilities : Desired skill set includes
- Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management & Authentication across leading platforms
- Hands on experience with Onprem and cloud based identity management systems solutioning and architecting
- Ability to grasp concepts, directions and impacts of new approaches to traditional & attribute based methods
- Ability to identify the key gaps in customer IAM strategies and product portfolio and recommend solutions
- Highlight key differentiators among the leading vendors delivering security solutions
- Work with onsite, offshore and cross functional team of analyst developing broad IT and business focused solutions for identity and access management
- Be a lead go to person with IT Provider clients in relation to security technologies, end-user buying behavior, and vendor strategies
- Produce innovative, thought-leading, impactful, analytically-deep, fact-based research
- Possess strong understanding of Identity provisioning, access management, privileged identity management & entitlement management
- Have a broad understanding of overall security technologies and services and the key vendors in the security market
- Understand vendor strategies and the long-term business impact from a financial perspective, end-user buying behavior and key market trends are impacting the overall security market size and growth
- Work history in roles such as IAM director, Practice Director
- Excellent verbal and written skills, comfortable presenting ideas and issues to different levels within and outside of the organization, to include; executive leadership, customers, auditors, governance committees, etc.
- Relevant Experience typically a minimum of 10 years IAM knowledge
- Strong project planning and management skills, Strong team-working ethos
- Exceptional influencing and leadership skills
- Related professional experience including a minimum of 6-8 years' experience in a managerial position and a bachelor's degree
