Job Description
Under the general supervision of the Chief Clinical Laboratory Scientist, obtains and processes patient specimens and performs various clinical laboratory test for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Analyzes, interprets, and reports test results and ensures accuracy of same. Verifies tests as necessary; directly notifies appropriate personnel of critical results and provides proper documentation. Provides diagnostic laboratory services for the care of neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient.

Required qualifications :
Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California Or
California Clinical Chemist Scientist License Or
California Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist License Or
California Clinical Microbiologist Scientist License Or
California Clinical Toxicologist Scientist License Or
California Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist License Or
California Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist License Or
California Clinical Hematology Scientist License Or
California Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist License Or
California Clinical Laboratory Scientist Biochemistry Special License.
Preferred qualifications :
2 years' Clinical laboratory experience.
