Sr Philanthropic AdvisorySpecialist position will work on philanthropic business development andphilanthropic account management.
Serves as subject matter expert in regards tophilanthropic planning for individuals, charity institutions and philanthropicvehicles, such as endowments, planned gifts, private foundations,split-interest charity trusts, and donor advised funds.
Fiduciary expert thatapplies knowledge and skills in the area of trust and estate matters,investment management, wealth transition, chari and financial planning to servehigh net worth and institutional clients.
Delivers advisory based services tophilanthropic clients.
This role includes a heavyfocus on new business acquisition, collaborating with Investment &Fiduciary Centers in setting-up and administering Investment & Fiduciaryaccounts, retaining client relationships, and developing relationships to theirfullest potential by cross-selling services of The Private Bank.
Responsiblefor corporate regulatory and compliance standards
Dependent on candidate selected position maysit in either the Richmond, Roanoke, or Norfolk, VA office*
This LO position has customer contact and jobduties which may include needs assessing and referring those customersinterested in a dwelling secured product to a SAFE team member.
This positionincludes assisting customers without taking an application and without offeringor negotiating terms of a dwelling secured transaction.
Individuals in a LOposition also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z(LO) outlined in the job expectations below.

Required Qualifications
8 years trust / fiduciary experiencedemonstrated through work, military or education experience
Desired Qualifications
- A Masters of Business Administration (MBA),Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or comparable professional designation
- Ability to generate successful businessdevelopment relationships
- Knowledge and understanding of fiduciary lawand federal regulations
- Knowledge and understanding of institutionalinvestment management or endowment / foundation management
- Knowledge and understanding of philanthropicconcepts
- Certified Trust and Financial Advisor(CTFA)
- Established network in the local market
Other Desired Qualifications
- Significant experience with familyphilanthropy, including private foundations, donor advised funds,split-interest trusts, family retreats, workshops and meetings
- Experience in wealth management with net worthclients of at least five million dollars
- Extensive knowledge and understanding offinancial and estate planning, fiduciary / trust, wealth transfer, leverage,multiple asset class usage, asset allocation strategies, and taxation
- Local market knowledge extensive localphilanthropic network strong networking skills and a passion for philanthropy
Job Expectations
Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positionsmust meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirementsand comply related to our client’s policies.
The LO qualification requirements includemeeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financialfitness and criminal background standards.
A current credit report will be usedto assess your financial responsibility and credit fitness, however, a creditscore is not included as part of the evaluation.
