Description :
Interaction designer / Information Architect passionate about Human-centered design, along-with a strong command over interaction design principles, IA concepts and design principles in general. Should be able to collaborate and communicate professionally with clients and internal teams, equally. Ability to design user-experiences from low-fidelity sketches to hi-fidelity pixel perfect mockups and defining interaction models and task flows are one of the core requirements for this position.
In addition, rapid prototyping skills with contemporary tools to validate design concepts with stakeholders / customers and ability to establish highly detailed communication of design principles / direction as well as design specifications to UI engineers are a must.
Responsibilities :
- High and Low fidelity interactive prototypes using InVision, XD, Sketch, Axure, and the like.
- Prefer high fidelity prototypes over low fidelity so design IA / information architecture skills is a major bonus and compensation will reflect the increase in skill set
- Apply human factors, human computer interaction and interactive models
- Application of new interaction models, such as animated circular menus, auto-closing affirmation modals, gestures, voice UX, and conversational UI
- Applying the art of possible architecting solutions and ideation that involve artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), mixed reality (MR), and other emerging technologies
- Capable of architecting solutions and ideation for devices, including devices you have not used or had exposure to
- Collaborate with business owners and stake holders
- Ask questions to further your understanding of the UI needs
- Apply Human Factors, Color Theory, Visual Communications to low fidelity designs, when applicable
- Interpret wireframes and apply your knowledge of design - wireframes and low fidelity designs are not a coloring book - you are to add value and even update design patterns that optimize the end user experience
- Executing and owning applicable work-streams for innovation projects and programs with multiple stakeholders
- Collaborating with teams across TCS businesses and functions
- Articulating Art of Possible and sharing points of view on new innovation approaches, technologies, and tools based on internal / external research
- Facilitating design thinking / ideation / brainstorming sessions and collaboration workshops
- Developing executive level communications / presentations
- Designing and executing innovation programs around knowledge sharing
- Developing high degree of trust with key internal client base
