Role Description
Teplis Travel is seeking a senior level Corporate Travel Account Management professional for our high touch and fast paced Travel Management Company (TMC). Position will align with candidate's level of experience, but ideally looking for Senior Manager or Director level.
The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented with a drive to achieve goals, maintain a great customer/client experience, and be a team player. Work closely with our clients to understand their business/corporate travel needs for air, rental car, hotel, ground transportation, groups, and incentive reservations. Additionally, the Corporate Travel Account Management role will collaborate and work very closely as a team with internal teams (Travel Operations, IT, Accounting, Sales, etc.) to optimize travel programs, provide strategic guidance, and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage and onboard a portfolio of corporate travel accounts of varying sizes and industries.
- Interact on a personal level with our corporate travel accounts, building and maintaining client relationships, resolving client issues and ad-hoc requests, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with key client accounts to provide corporate travel solutions and ensure client satisfaction.
- Create synergies with internal stakeholders including Travel Operations and Information Technologies.
- Serve as primary day-to-day liaison with assigned corporate travel clients and maintain positive ongoing relationships
Qualifications
- Proven success in Corporate Travel account management or as Business Travel Manager in the corporate travel industry.
- Experience managing clients for a corporate travel agency or Travel Management Company (TMC) a plus.
- Experience with a CRM (Salesforce), Concur Travel, GDS (Worldspan, Galileo, Sabre, Travelport ) and Travel Agency Reporting (iBank, Prime Analytics, Grasp) experience is benefit as these skills will be needed day to day.
- This is a client facing role that involves both in person and virtual meetings.
- Background in Corporate Travel Agency Operations (e.g. Call Center, Ticketing, Groups, etc.) is a plus
- Ability to multitask, strong organizational skills, and an eye for detail.
- Some occasional travel will be required.
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Microsoft Office experience is required.
- Knowledge of travel industry trends and best practices
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Strong Analytical Skills and Financial Acumen - ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make strategic recommendations
- Proficiency in travel management software and tools
- Customer-focused with a problem-solving attitude
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred skills
