Summary
This position supports Charlotte FC’s match presentation and production experience while working cross functionally with the club’s Marketing, Sponsorship, Ticketing, Digital, Game Ops, etc. Additionally, the role may support other stadium events as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Alongside the Director, Event Presentation and Production, manage the control room operations for Charlotte FC, MLS Next Pro, soccer competition and international soccer matches including:
• Assist with the creation and development of matchday run of shows
• Manage all LED content and schedules for Charlotte FC home matches
• Actively participate in the creative vision, development, and execution for matchday and events
• Organize, develop, write and track matchday scripts for all soccer competitions
• Manage and crew all Charlotte FC and MLS Next Pro Home Match including talent (PA & DJs) contracts rates, invoices and booking
• Assist Director and Producer with managing external creative vendors management
• Assisting with archival and proof of performance processes
• Ensuring deadlines are met and projects stay on track
• Assist with other Stadium events as needed (concerts, football, etc)
• Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
• At least 3 years of experience in live event presentation
• Creativity and ability to bring innovative ideas and concepts
• Knowledge of Daktronics Show Control and the Adobe Suite
Required Skills & Abilities
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrates good teamwork
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on motivating and innovating
• Works well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be a team player, reliable, and dependable
• Ability to make sound decisions and exercise independent judgement and discretion with integrity and accountability, while working in a fast-paced, high-demand, and sometimes strenuous environment
• Must maintain complete confidentiality of privileged, and/or sensitive information
• Must, at all times, display the character and values of the Tepper Sports & Entertainment brand
• Must be able to multi-task while managing time successfully
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
• Must be available to work in all Charlotte FC home matches.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, and endure weather conditions, including rain, wind, high and low temperatures, etc.
• Must be able to work in non-traditional settings, and work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends and holidays
• Physical workspace at both Charlotte FC office and Bank of America Stadium
