TAs the Tequila Komos Education Manager, you will lead education and advocacy efforts within your assigned markets and across multiple channels. You will be responsible for driving trade engagement through trade trainings, consumer events, and strategic commercial partnerships. The ideal candidate is a trade-savvy individual with outstanding presentation skills and a passion for culture, luxury, and sustainability, capable of building strong relationships and growing brand presence by at least 25% annually in key performance categories. This job requires minimum 75% travel to key markets.
What You'll Do- Education and Mentorship:
- Lead trade education sessions and trade-focused events to deepen knowledge and appreciation of Tequila Komos.
- Execute and host luxury consumer sampling events and build experiential brand programs that emphasize Tequila Komos's commitment to luxury, sustainability, and culture.
- Support trade education and brand advocacy through targeted activations, workshops, and influencer events.
- Relationship Management and Brand Advocacy:
- Establish and maintain strong, authentic relationships with Gallo personnel, account managers, and key influencers in your markets.
- Identify emerging trends and apply this knowledge to drive relevant activations, positioning Tequila Komos as a premier choice in the market.
- Engage with key accounts to develop tailored programs, promote product upsells, and explore commercial partnerships.
- Work with Gallo and CKBG stakeholders to educate and support their accounts.
- Sales and Account Management:
- Support distributor sales teams to educate and sell-in
- Act as a consultant to accounts, advising on portfolio opportunities, education initiatives, and creative program ideas to drive Tequila Komos’s growth.
- Build long-term account plans, focusing on ongoing programming and impactful brand experiences.
- Maintain a regular presence in key accounts, monitor program performance, and provide insights to the market lead on opportunities and risks.
- Skills:

- Proven success in sales and trade education, with a keen eye for industry trends and consumer insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to educate and inspire.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage budgets, travel, measure ROI, and analyze program effectiveness.
- Flexibility to travel frequently within the East Coast region and some international travel. REQUIRED
- Current legal passport and valid driver's license. REQUIRED
- Bilingual in English/Spanish. REQUIRED
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in sales, brand advocacy, or marketing in the spirits or wine industry, with a strong understanding of the cocktail and premium spirits markets.
