Job Summary: National Power, LLC is seeking an experienced and dedicated Renewables Construction Foreman. Under the general direction of and reporting to the Project Manager, the Renewables Construction Foreman will oversee and manage the construction of renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for renewable energy. The Foreman will be responsible for supervising construction activities, ensuring safety compliance, managing project timelines, coordinating with managers, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors on renewable energy projects.
  • Ensure that all construction activities are completed on time, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues or potential delays.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Train and mentor construction workers, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
  • Manage the procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, timesheets, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate with local authorities and utility companies to ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.
  • Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
  • Address and resolve any on-site conflicts or issues that arise during construction.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of project schedules and work plans.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment (up to 50 lbs).
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and working on construction sites.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating tools and equipment.
  • Tolerance to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in renewable energy projects, particularly solar and wind, is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • This is a remote position requiring travel
