Job Overview:
We are seeking a professional and attentive Security Guard to manage guest check-ins, verify identification, and ensure the safety of our dispensary. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Responsibilities: (Include but are not limited to)
- Greet and check in guests while maintaining a friendly yet professional demeanor.
- Verify customer identification to ensure they meet legal age requirements.
- Monitor the entrance and premises to prevent unauthorized access.
- Ensure compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations.
- Assist with crowd control and maintain a safe, orderly environment.
- Work closely with management to communicate any security concerns.
- De-escalate any conflicts or disturbances in a professional manner.
- Keep accurate records of any incidents or security issues.
Qualifications:
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
- Valid security guard card.
- Strong observational and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass any required background checks.
