We are currently seeking an Activities Assistant who is passionate about making a difference for our Teresa’s House Craig Ranch Community!
Position Pay: $17.00 per hour; non-exempt position
Shift Schedule(s): Part-Time (16 hrs/wk), Friday & Saturday Saturday & Sunday

Godwin and Teresa have worked together for 30 years, their strengths are complete opposites, but both share a good sense of humor that makes working with them extremely fun.
The non-negotiables:
- High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent required
- Must clear a criminal background check and drug screening
- Must be comfortable working in an environment with pets and assisting in the care of community pets, including, but not limited to, ponies, dogs & cats
- Willing to demonstrate passion and ability to work with people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related disease
- Previous experience working with older adults and/or persons with memory-impairing diseases is desirable
Responsibilities:
- Assists the Activities Director with the planning and implementation of resident activity programs
- Organizing & leading memory enrichment activities with a small group of residents
- Enthusiastically encouraging resident participation in activities and recreational programs and celebrating their achievements
- Preparing background materials and conducting relevant research for activities and recreational programs
- Assist with music and occupational therapy for residents
- Good interpersonal skills in working with all kinds of people
