RN Supervisor
Shift: EVENINGS 2:45p-11:15p
Status: Full Time & part-time openings
Department: Nursing
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversees all nursing concerns including assessments of resident concerns.
- Using 24-hour Condition Sheets as minimum information makes rounds on each floor to ascertain condition of residents, oversee nursing care and identify problems.
- Analyzes workload for the shift, prioritizes and divides tasks equitably and fairly between shift supervisors.
- Is a support to staff to maintain and provide care based on NYS Regulatory Guidelines.
Qualifications for RN Supervisor candidates:
- Graduate of a State approved school of nursing.
- Has current license as Registered Nurse in New York State.
- At least one year's experience in Long Term Care supervisory capacity.
- Must have demonstrated administrative ability to deal with required nursing functions.
- Must be able to communicate verbal and written instructions to all levels of staff.
