As an HR Manager at Terex Utilities, you'll play a pivotal role in planning, implementing, and participating in various human resources management functions at our manufacturing site. A successful candidate will coordinate recruitment and selection of new team members; provide general team member communications, policy deployment, salary and benefits administration, recognition programs, and training depending on the area of assignment.
This is a key hire for the organization, requiring a strong team player who is self-motivated, adaptable to ambiguity, and skilled at developing robust processes. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business and operational metrics, driving the people agenda to improve performance and achieve results.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all human resource policies and programs, including labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance team member engagement, retention, and productivity.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand recruitment and training needs.
- Design and deliver training programs to develop team members' skills and competencies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing guidance on human resources matters.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on HR metrics and analytics.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
You Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- At least 5 years of human resources experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of delivering results-driven HR solutions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- PHR/SPHR certification a plus.
