We’re seeking for a DSP-3 Recreation Site Supervisor to join our TERI team!
The DSP-3 Recreation Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing social groups on Saturdays, Midweek Socials, and additional school break programs, that the program aligns with the corporation’s philosophical and recreational standards. This position will also require the supervisor to have clients assigned to them, providing direct care and support. The DSP-3 Recreation Site Supervisor supervises Respite Workers and Direct Support Professionals who provide direct care to children, teens, and adults with a variety of developmental and intellectual disabilities.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES –
- Providing support and training for children, teens, and adults with developmental and learning disabilities.
- Support direct care in activities, personal care and daily living needs.
- Report any concerns regarding individuals’ safety, concern, and injury.
- Review all activities monthly with the Program Director.
- Coordinates with the Recreation Program Manager and Program Director to communicate staff needs and concerns.
- Train new staff on job responsibilities, policies and procedures.
- Participate in parent and/or staff meetings and other in-service training.
QUALIFICATIONS –
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- At least two-years related experience working with children, teens, and adults who have developmental and learning disabilities.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with 2 Years Clean Driving Record.
Salary Range –
$25.00 Hourly
