We’re seeking for a Therapeutic Equestrian Worker to join our TERI team!
The Therapeutic Equestrian Worker assists with instructing therapeutic riding lessons and leading unmounted activities, lunging and exercise riding, as well as providing general horse care.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES –
- Perform stable management caring for horses and small animals.
- Responsible for cleaning, upkeeping, repairing barn, stable and equipment.
- Assist individuals during riding lessons by leading the horse, side walking, and/or stabilizing the individual, and providing assistance with mountain and dismounting.
- Work with supervisor to provide basic riding plans.
- Protects clients’ rights, safety, health, and welfare and best interest at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS –
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Minimum five-years related horse experience.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, but not required.
- Comfortable teaching basic riding skills.
- Must have a two-year clean driving record.
Salary Range –
$16.50 Hourly
Position Status –
Part-Time
Schedule:
3 days a week of 15 hours per week (Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday)
