Housekeeper

JOB OVERVIEW:

Responsible for ensuring rooms and other areas of the Lodge are kept clean every day. This position may be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Housekeepers will have: a high school diploma or GED equivalent, organizational and time management skills, effective communication skills, and exceptional customer service skills. He or she will possess knowledge of cleaning techniques, and health and safety regulations and procedures.

OTHER JOB DUTIES:

· Changing/making beds to Lodge standards

· Replacing used towels with new ones

· Sweeping and mopping floors

· Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms

· Ensuring new toiletries provided by the Lodge are placed at appropriate places

· Removing trash

· Keeping cabins and cabin areas clean and maintaining cleanliness at check-out and/or prior to check-in.

· Cleaning Office, Bunkhouse and Bath House on a consistent basis as assigned.

· Monitoring and reports on the inventory of cleaning supplies.

· Keeping the housekeeping storage room in a neat and organized fashion.

· Create room totes that contain all necessary items for turning a room in accordance with Lodge standards.

· Observe and inspect cabins, office, bunkhouse and bath house for maintenance issues and report them immediately to Housekeeping supervisor.
