Rhodes Flagging Services is seeking traffic control flaggers.
Job Description:
- Maintain the safety of employees, contractors, and general public by effectively monitoring and directing traffic through job sites
- Be able to follow directions and assist Maintenance of Traffic Manager when needed
- Communicate effectively and professionally with other flaggers, Maintenance of Traffic Manager, customer, and general public
- Effectively use traffic paddle to communicate with motorists
- Wear and maintain proper PPE in accordance with RFS policy
- Other duties may be assigned
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have reliable transportation to and from shop.
- Have smartphone to receive work schedule and communications on company app
- Excellent communication skills
- Be able to work in all weather conditions and tolerate varying climates of heat, cold, and rain
- Pass a drug screen prior to employment and maintain a drug-free status
- Be able to stand throughout your entire shift, hand and arm movement is required
- Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Be physically capable to perform all traffic control duties
