Summary
As a Project Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive and precise quantity take-offs, estimates, and analyses for various scopes of work. Your expertise will directly impact the success of our projects through detailed planning, cost control, and collaboration with the entire Terminal team.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, analyses, and cost studies for assigned scopes.
- Assemble bids and proposals for various contract types (Design-Build, Lump Sum, GMP, Cost Plus, etc.).
- Develop cost-saving value analyses and recommend alternatives to proposed scopes.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost analyses for concrete work, including foundations, slabs, and structural elements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
- Perform earthwork calculations and analyze existing site conditions.
- Solicit, evaluate and compare subcontractor and material quotes.
- Coordinate with team members to eliminate scope gaps and overlaps in estimates.
- Review and interpret contract documents, plans, and specifications to identify and address unindicated scope requirements.
- Make data-driven recommendations to the Chief Estimator regarding project expenditures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
- Proven experience in construction estimating and cost control.
- Expertise in Bluebeam Revu and familiarity with Procure software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project scopes and pricing.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to deliver accurate estimates under tight deadlines.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
