Job Summary
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing and organizing maintenance operations, offering technical expertise to team members, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. This position demands advanced proficiency across diverse maintenance disciplines, encompassing industrial electrical work, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and crane/hoist repairs.
Duties and Responsibilities.
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and TICO standards.
- Acquire forklift certification and oversee its safe operation within the team.
- Safely operate advanced hand and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Work proficiently at heights and in confined spaces, ensuring safety procedures are followed.
- Acquire certification on lift platforms such as scissor lifts and snorkel lifts, ensuring team members are trained as needed.
- Utilize measuring devices accurately for precise maintenance tasks.
- Apply advanced industrial electrical skills to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems, including 120v/220v/480v circuits and 3-phase systems.
- Apply advanced carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Read and interpret advanced blueprints and electrical schematics to guide maintenance activities effectively.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations at all levels.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of wire sizes, breakers, panels, fuses, contactors, transformers, and other electrical components.
- Troubleshoot and repair cranes and hoists using advanced techniques.
- Participate in Job Safety Analysis to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
- Communicate effectively with managers, team members, and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities.
- Manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks to meet maintenance schedules and deadlines.
- Operate basic computer functions including Outlook, Word, Excel, Paycor, and FIIX for communication, documentation, and maintenance tracking.
- Determine required materials lists for maintenance tasks and submit procurement requests as needed.
- Maintain FIIX program to open, close, and prioritize daily work orders.
- Train, evaluate, and discipline maintenance staff according to TICO standards.
- Uphold positive leadership and safety standards at all times.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a maintenance leadership role preferred.
Working conditions
- Working conditions may include working outside of a climate-controlled environment for long periods of time.
- PPE is required while on production floors.
Physical requirements
Walking, sitting, standing, crouching, and lifting up to 50lbs.
