What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Acquisition Specialist position at Terminal Security Solutions Inc?
Responsibilities :
- Revise and update job postings to reflect job requirements, objectives, and benefits to attract talent.
- Maintain tracking and reporting of candidate’s position in the recruitment process to ensure an efficient flow and positive experience from application through orientation.
- Prepare and post job ads online (Indeed, UKG)
- Maintain a candidate database of all new hires and provide weekly feedback.
- Handle records and paperwork.
- Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline.
- Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications and performing phone screenings.
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done by employment laws and regulations as instructed by our HR Department.
- Host and participate in job fairs with the Talent Acquisition Team as needed.
- Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process!
- Assist Port Everglades, Port of Miami, and Port Canaveral as needed in Hiring Needs.
- Schedule new hires for D-License training (when applicable), TSS orientation and MTSA training in coordination with the applicable trainer.
- Maintain key recruitment metrics, specifically track hiring statistics and turnover in conjunction with our port teams and generate reports for the management teams.
- This position will be on-site and requires some traveling.
- Responsible for creating community partnerships in Port Canaveral.
- Will be conducting visits to Port Canaveral Terminal, to promote internal referrals, and visit new and existing employees.
- Other recruitment related duties and projects, as assigned.
