What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct - Computer-Aided Design position at Terra Community College?
POSITION SUMMARY :
Engages students in the teaching / learning process; works assigned schedule, represents the College in the community, and performs other related duties as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (no more than 12) :
- Plans and teaches CAD courses (introductory 2-D drawings / advanced drafting and dimensioning techniques / complex orthographic and isometric drawings) that fulfill the current curriculum goals and objectives, in an online or traditional classroom format.
- Remains current with subject matter and instructional methodology.
- Employs appropriate assessment techniques to measure student performance in achieving course goals and objectives.
- Communicates progress in the course to students in a timely manner.
- Determines and submits students' grades in accordance with established College policies and procedures.
- Supports the mission of the program, division, and College.
