Position Summary :
Assists the Marketing department with various initiatives aimed at increasing the College's visibility and engagement.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include :
Supports the department in the development and promotion of marketing campaigns.Review the College websites for updates including broken links, content for each term, policies and procedures, etc.Takes photos / videos at College events; curates content for social media.Assists with conducting market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for the College.Collaborates with other departments to support the needs of various requests such as creating flyers, posters, newsletters, etc.Provides general administrative support to the marketing team such as organizing files, scheduling meetings, and conducting interviews for alumni success stories.Assists with creating social media content to increase audience reach and engagement.Performs other related duties as assigned.Education and / or Work Experience :
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in the area of Marketing.Other Skills and Abilities :
Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.Solid understanding of different Marketing techniques.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent knowledge of basic office equipment and software.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.Ability to work events hosted on weekends or evenings.Physical Demands :
