Summary / Objective : Responsible for various operations and functions of projects including the ability to collect field data, perform field observations, compile information from various sources, and other various tasks as assigned.
Essential Functions
- Gather data about traffic flow, crashes, land usage, roadway geometry and uses FTP and web sites to transfer the data
- Measures multi-modal traffic data using video collection units, pneumatic tubes, and / or magnetic traffic counters
- Measures data based on readings from the equipment.
- Sets up, adjusts and operates appropriate equipment on work sites
- Collects data
- Follows all safety regulations including wearing appropriate reflective clothing and following all other safety protocol for field work.
- Performs other duties as required by Department Managers or Project Managers
