You Are :
- Experienced in proposal development and interviews for a range of project sizes and types.
- Comfortable with business development efforts by understanding the local client market and participating in professional organizations.
- Prepared to assist the Sr. Project Manager in reviewing agreements.
- Ready to support the Sr. Project Manager in establishing project team and staffing requirements consistent with contractual obligations.
- Excited to leads "Kick-Off" meeting(s) to convey scope, tasks, and budgets to team members.
You Will :
Manage the day-to-day activities for projects of varying complexity and coordinate with internal and external multidisciplinary team members to ensure deliverables meet project requirements.Manage project communication and deliverables to ensure the highest quality of documentation and professionalism.Delegate tasks and lead the team in developing design criteria, performing analyses, and preparing design documents on a wide range of project types and sizes.Ensure each project meets Quality Control / Quality Assurance requirements.Approve and certify deliverables as the Engineer of Record.Lead client and stakeholder presentations.Monitor project financial performance and establish / update project staffing requirements to meet project's financial goals.Participate in monthly invoicing of projects and tracking accounts' receivables.Collaborate with Senior Project Manager and Senior Technical Engineer to strategize successful project delivery, financial performance, and risk mitigation.Lead construction administration activities including resolving construction related issues, disputes, and disagreements.Oversee the close-out documentation process with contractors, clients, and agencies.Lead the close out process internally, including identifying lessons learned to be relayed to staff members.Assist in the authoring of project descriptions and resumes to be incorporated into marketing materials.Develop and maintain trusted relationships with team members and clients.Mentor, train, and provide oversight to staff members.Create and enforce the application of TERRA standards and guidelines.Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, and candidate selection process.You Have :
B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering or related fields8-12 years of Civil engineering or Site Development experiencea Professional Engineer (PE) License in Illinois (required)Additional credentials preferred (i.e., CFM, CPESC, ENV SP, LEED AP, etc.)Active participant in local professional association events / educational sessionsThe ability to exercise good engineering and leadership judgment.TERRA Provides :
