Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Gaucho to join our culinary team. As a Gaucho, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality grilled meats and other dishes in accordance with our restaurant's standards. Your expertise will contribute to creating an inviting atmosphere that showcases the art of the Churrasco.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, season, and grill various cuts of meat using traditional techniques.
- Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and served at the appropriate temperature.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area.
- Uphold food safety standards and sanitation practices at all times.
- Engage with guests to provide information about menu items and cooking methods.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Gaucho or in a similar role within a restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of grilling techniques, meat cuts, and flavor profiles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to walk and carry heavy skewers for an extended period of time.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
