Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team at a bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm welcome and seat them accordingly
- Manage reservations and waiting lists
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Communicate effectively with guests and staff
- Handle guest inquiries and provide accurate information about the restaurant
- Support servers and other staff as needed
Experience
- Prior experience in guest services or customer service is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Shift4, is a plus
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices
- Willingness to help others and contribute to a positive team dynamic
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour
