About the Role :
As a Staff Accountant at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. Your main responsibility will be to perform bank reconciliations, ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded and discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for preparing journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and reconciling accounts on a regular basis. Additionally, you will assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes. Overall, your contribution will be instrumental in maintaining the financial health and stability of our organization.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in maintaining the general ledger, including posting journal entries and ensuring accuracy.
- Help with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Assist in payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Review and monitor project costs, ensuring that financial records reflect the company's solar energy projects accurately.
- Collaborate with other departments to track and report on financial data related to projects.
- Assist with audits by preparing necessary documentation and schedules.
- Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by senior team members.
