We are seeking a dedicated Plant Production Personnel to join our team in the manufacturing of polymer concrete and fiberglass vaults for the telecommunications and power industries. This role involves hands-on production work, including material handling, mold preparation, mixing, pouring, finishing, and quality control to ensure our products meet industry standards. The ideal candidate will be a team player with attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing & Production :
  • Assist in the preparation, mixing, and pouring of polymer concrete into molds.
  • Operate production equipment, such as mixers, cranes, and finishing tools, to ensure product consistency.
  • Monitor and adjust material flows to maintain proper mix ratios and quality standards.

Mold Preparation & Finishing :

  • Prepare, clean, and apply release agents to molds before production.
  • Demold, trim, and finish polymer concrete vaults to specifications.
  • Inspect molds and ensure they are in good working condition for reuse.

    • Quality Control & Compliance :

  • Inspect finished products for defects, proper curing, and adherence to specifications.
  • Report any quality or process issues to the Plant Supervisor.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

    • Equipment & Maintenance :

  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of tools, molds, and equipment.
  • Assist with troubleshooting minor equipment malfunctions.
  • Report maintenance needs or equipment issues promptly.

    • Teamwork & Workflow Efficiency :

  • Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain efficient production schedules.
  • Assist in loading, stacking, and moving materials or finished products as needed.
  • Support inventory management by tracking material usage and reporting shortages.

    • Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education & Experience :

    • Prior experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is a plus.

  • Experience with polymer concrete, precast concrete, or composites manufacturing is also beneficial.
  • Skills & Abilities :

    • Ability to follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production guidelines.

  • Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Work Environment :

    • Work is performed in a production facility with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.

  • Proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required, including gloves, safety glasses, and respirators when needed.
