TerraBella communities together account for more than 2200 units and span a full spectrum of senior living and care options, including Active Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and available, short-term Respite Care. 

TerraBella Senior Living is looking for an experienced Business Office Manager to join our community in Lincolnton.

Our ideal candidate would have a servant leadership heart, a passion for making a difference in the lives of others while working as a key team player in our beautiful community. 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and submits necessary documentation for resident move-ins, move-outs, transfers and ancillary charges.
  • Deposit and posting of cash receipts and monitoring controls over resident trust accounts
  • Monitors and oversees the processing of accounts payable.
  • Ensures department manager’s complete appropriate assignment of departmental expenses and supporting documentation is executed and maintained.
  • Reviews and distributes the monthly financial statements.
  • Prepares Management reports as requested.
  • Maintains team member, resident, vendor and financial accounting files in accordance with established policies and requirements.
  • Interfaces with residents on billing/collection issues.
  • Oversees preparation and maintenance of resident files, records and reports in accordance with company and state guidelines.
  • Manages community Human Resource function. Responsible for ensuring a positive first impression, following the established new hire orientation program.
  • Oversees payroll and Team Member paperwork including new hire and Change forms.
  • Manages open positions using the applicant tracking system (ATS) and job postings. 
  • Supervise community Concierge.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Two or more years experience in an AL or Skilled Community
  • Associates degree in Accounting a plus
