This role requires regular standing and walking, frequent use of hands to finger, handle, or feel, and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance from a second employee and/or mechanical devices. Pushing up to 350 pounds (wheelchair) is also required. Close vision and distance vision are essential for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities
As a Director of Health & Wellness, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding clinical care.
- Collecting and analyzing occurrence trends, developing and implementing improvement plans as needed.
- Partnering with administrators and team members to maintain resident and team member health safety.
- Collaborating with pharmacy consultants to provide optimal pharmaceutical services to residents.
- Providing clinical expertise to licensed nurses.
- Assisting with educational presentations and identifying ongoing needs and services of residents through the assessment/Service Plan process.
- Overseeing the completion of monthly updates and reporting any pertinent changes to responsible parties.
- Participating in community awareness activities and maintaining communications with residents' families and/or responsible parties regarding changes in care or health concerns.
- Scheduling clinical staff and ensuring adequate clinical supplies are available.
- Participating in a rotating on-call schedule.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- A Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing; a Registered Nurse is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a nursing leadership role, with senior living experience being a plus.
- BLS Certification.
