Front of House Supervisor

Job Summary
Under the direction of the Executive Chef the Front of House Supervisor will oversee, manage, and lead the Front of House team made up of waitstaff and baristas. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, family-owned organization. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing an exceptional guest experience.
Position Responsibilities
· Manage and lead team members through training, coaching, and feedback. While fostering a safe and healthy work environment
· Manage the ordering and inventory of all beverage products including wine, beer, coffee, tea, syrups, milk, etc.
· Work with the Executive Chef to ensure the beverage program continues to provide a unique guest experience. The beverage program should feature seasonal specials, rotating wine & beer offerings. Spec sheets and recipes are to be created as needed.
· Provide and model a high level of customer service at all times that is in line with company values by tending to guests needs and resolving issues as they arise
· Operate a Point-of-Sale system fluently, Oversee the handling of cash and credit payments to ensure they are handled accurately and efficiently.
· Manage the reservations and waitlist process through Toast Tables.
· Catering; Help engage in conversation with client inquiries, help ensure BEOs are accurate, up to date, and organized. Oversee the check out of Catering Orders
· Perform regular inventories and ensure FOH items are fully stocked.
· Work to help standardize processes through the use of check lists, and SOPs
· Create work schedules for waitstaff and baristas.
· Work with the Executive Chef to hire new team members as needed
· Manage the cleaning and organization of the dining space, Espresso Bar, as well as storage areas
Position Requirements
· Previous experience leading and training FOH teams
· Previous experience serving
· Valid WA State food handlers permit.
· Valid WA state MAST certification- must meet requirements to serve alcohol in the state of Washington
· Must exhibit general knowledge of Coffee, Wine and Beer, Espresso Drinks-names and preparation, as well as general Culinary terms
· Strong knowledge of Front of House operations including service flow and organization
· Exceptional customer service (friendly and professional demeanor).
· Excellent communication and leadership skills.
· Ability to handle (and prioritize) multiple tasks at a time.
· Catering service experience preferred
· Morning, afternoon, weekend, and holiday availability.
· Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts.
