As a banquet server, you will professionally serve food and beverage to guests at banquet functions. You will be focused on optimizing each guest’s experience by living out our company purpose of “hospitality from our family to yours”.

Responsibilities
- Understand Banquet Event Orders to safely and efficiently set up and break down food and beverage service stations
- Set up and break down tables and food and beverage stations for functions to include place settings, table cloths, coffee breaks, buffets, or other special food service tables and equipment.
- Must be thoroughly knowledgeable about menu offerings including ingredients and preparation and able to communicate offerings to guests in a clear and concise manor
- Greeting guests as they enter a venue and helping them to find their seats.
- Seeing to the comfort of guests through answering questions, taking orders, conveying special instructions to the kitchen and bar, and serving food and beverages.
- Circulating the room with trays of appetizers and beverages.
- Directing guests to necessary services and features, and leading guests on tours of the location.
- Serves the guests in a professional and efficient manner.
- Promptly removes empty plates from guests.
- Loads all dirty dishes from the banquet function on a cart and breakdown at the dish line
- Greet each guest that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
- Ensures uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Follow hotel procedures for reporting and turning in lost and found articles.
- Coordinate with other departments as necessary to resolve service requests or problems.
- Ensure guest and associate safety by following established security procedures including emergency procedures, key security and protecting guest and company confidential information.
- Follow all company and safety procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
Qualifications
- Qualified applicants should be team oriented with an innate sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Prior experience with customer service or food and beverage is preferred.
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects in excess of 50 pounds with assistance. Stands, sits, or walks for an extended time period.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
