Outdoor enthusiasts, the Yakima Valley is calling your name!
Yakima is home to sunny skies, crystal clear mountain views, and miles of hills to climb and trails to blaze in every direction. From outdoor recreation (hike, swim, dirt bike, ski-you name, it!) to award-winning wineries, farm-to-table eateries, and farm fresh produce around every corner, it is the perfect place to explore and savor . Yakima is about 60 miles southeast of Mount Rainier in Washington and is blessed with 300 days of sunshine each year. With its beautiful, experience-all-the-seasons weather, central location, relatively low cost of living, and strong sense of community, it's a premiere place to live, work, and play. P.S. if you're a Washington State University graduate who loved Pullman, you're likely to love Yakima too!
Housing in Yakima :
Not only is housing more affordable in Yakima, but you're also able to own property / acreage at a lower price too! With great options for singles, couples, and families, in Yakima you can find yourself living in the mountains, riverfront, or amongst the plains. The best part? No matter where you choose, the views are incredible, and the price is right in the Yakima Valley.
