Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, including residential homes, and commercial establishments. This role requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness. This is a campground. This is a temporary position for the duration of the camping season. Merit raise are available based on performance and the use of amenities is available to employees.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness in guest cabins, common areas, laundry rooms and restrooms in accordance with established standards.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring they are well-stocked and properly maintained.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is beneficial.
- Experience in hospitality settings such as campgrounds or resorts is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
