Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to work with and oversee our maintenance team and ensure the efficient operation of our campground. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, knowledge of electrical systems, potable water systems, septic systems and tractor and equipment use. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, project management, and the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively. This position is in a seasonal campground and is fulltime for the camping season from April to October. There may be an opportunity to extend the working period. The rate of pay is based on experience and knowledge.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Conduct regular inspections of the campground to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Oversee project management for maintenance-related projects, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Preference to experience in supervising maintenance with campgrounds, but not required.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, potable water systems and septic systems.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
